Plug in iron and rotate the switch to select the right temperature. The thicker your hair, the higher the temperature setting to be selected. -
2. Split your hair into multiple sections and clip. The amount of sections should depend on the thickness of your hair. -
3. Ensure the straightener gets as close to roots of hair section as possible without burning your scalp. -
4. Clamp the flat iron down and ensure that the heated sides of iron touch and your hair rests in-between them. -
5. Gentle run iron down entire length of hair section. -
6. Repeat multiple times, run straightener over section until it is completely straight. -
7. Move straightened section aside and unclip new section of hair. -
Repeat steps 3 to 7.
Hair Curling

Perform steps 1 and 2 in hair straightening. To obtain best results with thin hair, work with small sections of hair at a time -
2. To Start curling. Take piece of hair you want to curl and untangle it with quick brush through, Clamp flat iron around hair and half turn so your hair makes a U-shape. Hold the flat iron in this position and move it down hair shaft, right to the ends. -
3. To loosen your curls. For softer and looser hair, you can run fingers through hair curls a few times. The hair curls will pull down by so doing and loosen up. -
Repeat steps 1 to 3.

Let me preface this review by telling everyone that I used to have a TYME iron, it cost me about $150 and after the first few times I used it the plastic shell melted into my hair while I was running it through and burned off a huge chunk of my hair. I didn’t hold it there for long or too tightly, I simply was just running it through. Anyways, after that horrible experience I was looking for a new one and when I saw the price of this one I didn’t think it would be that great, but after reading the awesome reviews I decided to give it a try. When it came I was shocked at the quality. It is amazing! It is very sturdy and easy to use. The temperature control is awesome and the locking feature is wonderful for traveling and storage, I never knew I needed this feature until now! I’ve used it once or twice and it straightens my hair so easily and doesn’t frizz it AT ALL, like other products tend to do. So far I LOVE this product and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
